About Us

Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) is a self-disciplining, nonprofit and nationwide organization of private medical colleges and dental colleges of Bangladesh. It was established under Company Act, 1913 of Bangladesh and BPMCA started its activities in 2008 with License No 22/2008 issued by Ministry of Commerce, the Government of people's Republic of Bangladesh to represent all the private medical colleges in Bangladesh in any stage and in any way. The Association was approved by Director of Trade Organization (DTO), Ministry of Commerce, the Government of People's Republic of Bangladesh. The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries (FBCCI) has been assessed BPMCA as Grade "A" Association.

With an objective of development and up gradation of medical education and health services in Bangladesh as well as benefits of the members with a range of services and activities in empowering members to cope with the challenges of Third Industrial Revolution and help to achieve the goal SDG (Sustainable Development Goal) in health sector of the country.

The Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) has been emerged as an advisory organization for the private sector medical colleges. It provides policy guidelines to the government with a view to improving medical education and health care services. It has been a forum of private sector medical education and hospitals for exchanging views on problems being faced by private sector in health services of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) has been introducing E-Learning Platform to all members colleges in order to upgrade the standard of medical education. In time of health care crisis of the country like spread of Degue and spreading corona virus BPMCA works hand in hand with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The Management of Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) is vested in Executive Committee. The President of Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA) is elected by the members of Executive Committee. The Executive Committee is consists of nominees of the member private medical college. Each member Private Medical College nominates two members.

Enhancement of quality health services and maintained quality and best practices in medical education as per world standard. Ensured a strong Platform of private sector medical colleges of the country protecting rights and privileges of private medical colleges and hospitals We would be dynamic, innovative and competitive in providing services to members to develop quality, innovative and trusted health care services to peoples and ensure medical education maintained utmost quality based principles.

Mission of Bangladesh Private Medical College Association (BPMCA)

To promote quality and global standard health service and keeps the peoples safe, ensuring the capacity building of member private medical colleges and hospitals. 

To produce and promote quality doctor providing in health services in the country maintained stringent ethical, innovative standards enunciated in government policies and acts.
